Cleanse:
• Dermablend products should be applied to clean, moisturized skin. (Dermablend
Facial
Cleanser is recommended)
STEP 2. COVER
Select:
• Determine whether the skins undertone is predominantly pink-red, olive-yellow
or neutral.
• Select the Dermablend Cover Crème shade closest to the skin tone
of the area being covered. Quick Tip: Skin tones may vary on different parts of the body. Make
sure the color matches your face skin tone.
• Shade selection should be made in a natural-looking light.
Recommended Shades:Pink/Red shades: Chroma 2,21ž2, 3,4,6. Olive/Yellow
shades: Chroma 11ž2, 13ž4, 5,7. Peach shades: Chroma 0,1 Click here

Blending:
• Using a spatula put a small amount of Dermablend Cover Crème into
the palm of the hand (or on the back of a palette). Then using a circular motion,
warm and soften Cover Crème in your palm. If one shaded is either too
light or too dark, choose another shade with a complementary undertone and blend
the two together until the appropriate depth of color is achieved. Quick Tip: If two shades are necessary, keep note of the proportions
of each shade used (for easy reproduction of this color combination).
Cover Application:
• After Cover Crème is warm and softened with fingertips, apply
Cover Crème to chosen area using a “DAB PAT” motion until chosen
area is completely covered. DO NOT apply Cover Crème thickly. Remember,
“Less is more”. If necessary, “build” coverage (reapply
with the same motion until desired degree of coverage is achieved). Quick Tip: For sanitary purposes – a sponge can be used instead
of the fingertips to apply this product. However, since sponges tend to be highly
absorbent, moisten first with a little moisturizer.
STEP 3. SET
Dermablend Setting Powder is the key to the wearability and smudge-resistance
of the Dermablend Cover Crème. For optimum results, Dermablend Cover
Crème should always be used in conjunction with Dermablend Setting Powder,
as it will absorb facial oils and any excess Cover Crème. Quick Tip: Omitting or substituting Setting Powder will result in
less then-optimum results.
Setting Application:
• After Cover Crème has been applied, fluff on a generous amount
of Setting Powder with a puff. Let set for a minute and brush off excess with
a make up brush. Finish makeup as usual. Once applied, Dermablend® Cover
Crème is designed to "stay put" all day. Quick Tip: Dermablend Setting Powder helps give Cover Crème
wearability for up to 8 hours. But if quick touch-ups are necessary, Dermablend
Setting Powder Compact will combat mid-day shininess and keep makeup looking
fresh. Note, however, that the Setting Powder Compact is not an alternative
to the Dermablend Setting powder in loose form, because a very generous amount
of setting powder needs to be applied with the puff in order to ensure maximum
effectiveness of Cover Crème.
